To meet growing demand and strengthen our customer journey, Drytech is expanding the market team with a new Sales- and Market Developer. The role will focus on customer relations, market development, and the implementation of a new CRM system. All key steps in building stronger connections with our customers and partners.

Strengthening the customer journey

Drytech is entering an exciting phase of international growth. With more people discovering REAL Turmat across Europe and beyond, it is crucial to invest in tools and expertise that ensure a seamless customer experience. By strengthening our digital presence and customer relations, we aim to make it even easier for outdoor enthusiasts to choose REAL Turmat for their adventures.

Meet Marcus

Our new Sales- and Market Developer, Marcus, brings a unique combination of international experience, academic expertise, and deep passion for the outdoors.

  • Military background: Eight years in the Danish military, including four years with the Special Forces in Greenland. During long patrols by dog sled, REAL Turmat was the daily dinner — sparking a lasting appreciation for the product.
  • Outdoor achievements: Hiked the Pacific Crest Trail from Mexico to Canada, relying on freeze-dried food along the way. REAL Turmat was specially shipped to the U.S. because of its superior quality compared to local alternatives.
  • Hands-on production experience: Before joining the market team, Marcus worked for three months in Drytech’s production department, cooking the meals. This gave him firsthand insight into the craftsmanship and dedication behind every portion of REAL Turmat.
  • Academic expertise: Recently completed a Master’s degree in Strategic Management & Marketing in Tromsø. Combining theory with practical insights into international business development.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit: Founded a startup focused on outdoor gear, gaining valuable knowledge about the outdoor enthusiast community and their needs.

Passion for the outdoors: An avid skier, climber, and hiker, Marcus lives the lifestyle that REAL Turmat supports.

Looking ahead

“When I first arrived in Tromsø and discovered that Real Turmat is produced here, I told those around me that my biggest dream after completing my studies would be to join the market department there. Now, being given this opportunity feels truly special. As a longtime superfan of the product, it’s an honor to contribute to something I know and value so deeply. I’ve also noticed that many colleagues have been with Drytech for years, which speaks volumes about the company culture. I’m excited to begin my journey here and to grow my career alongside such a dedicated team.”
