The only camping checklist for your next trip

“When I pack for a trip outdoors, I always tell myself I won’t forget anything this time… and yet, something slips through if I don’t write it down.” A solid camping checklist saves the day, especially when the weather changes, the terrain surprises you, or you just want a smooth weekend under the sky.

Here’s a practical list that matches what people normally need to think about when going camping.

How to pack this camping checklist

Sort everything into bags that you categorize: camp gear, clothes, sleep, food, and first aid. This makes it much easier and faster for you to find what you’re looking for. The last thing you want to do in bad weather is to empty you backpack to find that one thing you need. Make sure that your dry clothes get their own bag, so they stay dry no matter what. Bring extra bags for used clothes etc.

A couple of things you should never skip:

  • Two pairs of shoes — one always gets wet.
  • Crocks — nothing beats slipping into them after a long day.
  • Your REAL Turmat favourites — easy, warm, dependable, and you never have to worry about prep.
  • Extra toilet paper and a lighter — it’s always worth it.

Your adventure will always be as good as your camping checklist. A solid plan helps you stay focused, pack smart, and enjoy every moment outside. With the right essentials in place, you’re ready for a smooth and memorable trip.
