We are adopting a decentralized warehousing strategy to increase the volume of outgoing transport through our distributors, streamlining our distribution process and reducing our ecological footprint.

Adjusting shipping practices

After years of supplying various national defences, our brands REAL Turmat and REAL Field Meal have gained significant attention. The demand from both small and large retailers across Europe is substantial. Traditionally, shipping small consignments from Tromsø to southern markets was not sustainable. To address this, we now ship containers of REAL products directly to the central warehouses of major chains, significantly reducing our transportation needs.

Reducing transport needs

Located in the Arctic region of Tromsø, we are often far from key European markets, making it crucial to minimize transportation distances. To further reduce transport needs, we have established a central warehouse in Sweden to handle much of our product export. Additionally, we are collaborating with distributors in specific markets who not only act as sales channels but also as logistic partners with available warehousing capabilities. This arrangement places our products closer to various markets, avoiding numerous small shipments from Tromsø.
