Joining the plastic pledge for a circular and responsible future
As a food producer, we recognize our role in contributing to a more circular economy. Through the Plastics Pledge, Drytech will:
- Work to optimize packaging design to reduce the use of unnecessary plastic
- Increase the share of recycled plastic in our packaging where possible
- Ensure that our packaging is designed for material recycling
- Collaborate with suppliers and partners to improve sustainability throughout the value chain
- Report annually on progress and measures taken
This is part of our broader environmental and climate strategy to reduce our footprint and contribute to a more sustainable food industry.

Green Dot is a non-profit company that provides financing for the recovery and recycling of used glass, plastic, metal, beverage carton and corrugated cardboard packaging. Green Dot Norway has also launched the Plastic Pledge scheme — an initiative that will contribute to a more circular plastic economy. The plastic packaging of the future is smarter, more innovative and sustainable. The Plastic Pledge scheme will help Norwegian companies achieve the EU’s targets for recycling plastic packaging, which entails 50% of all plastics by 2025 and 55% by 2030.

Drytech has now signed the Plastic Pledge and is therefore committed to:
- Increasing the use of recycled plastic
- Avoiding unnecessary use of plastic
- Designing for recycling
