Preparedness Tips

These meals can last far beyond the best-before date printed on the packaging. If the pouch remains vacuum-sealed and protected from light and moisture, they may stay good for several years after production. After the best-before date, we recommend the following: look > smell > taste before eating the whole portion.

If you want to follow the guidelines from DSB (The Norwegian Directorate for Civil Protection), store these meals in sealed plastic or metal containers in a dry place with minimal sunlight exposure.

Keep in mind that taste and texture may gradually decline after the best-before date.
