Target: 85% Recycling in Production

Our current recycling rate in production is 51%. The goal is to reach 85% by 2030. To get there, we are improving waste sorting, standardizing routines, and working closely with our waste management partner.

Production waste can be reused when it is handled correctly. By improving how materials are sorted and tracked, we increase the share that returns to the loop.

Improving Waste Sorting in Daily Operations

To increase recycling rates in production, we focus on measures that create immediate impact:

  • Clear labeling of waste types across production areas
  • Simplified sorting stations placed where waste occurs
  • Closer collaboration with our waste partner, Remiks

Clear labeling makes it easier to sort correctly without slowing down operations. When materials are easy to identify, sorting accuracy improves. Collaboration with Remiks gives better insight into waste streams and recycling potential.

These changes make waste sorting a natural part of daily production work.

Short-Term Goal: From 51% to 68%

The next step is to increase the recycling rate from 51% to 68% in the short term. This helps validate that the measures are working.

Progress is tracked continuously, allowing adjustments where needed. Small improvements in daily routines lead to significant gains in overall recycling performance.

Building a More Environmental Friendly Production System

Increasing recycling rates requires continuous improvement. The focus is to reduce residual waste and ensure that as much production waste as possible is recycled.

Through better waste sorting, clearer processes, and strong partnerships, we are building a more sustainable production system over time.

We are building a culture at Drytech where ‘taking responsibility’ is simply the way we work, ensuring we leave a lighter footprint for the future.
